The cackling hags over at The View had a particularly bad case of verbal diarrhea recently in response to some comments made by Vice President Mike Pence. Led by ringleader Joy Behar, the feminist freak show lambasted the Vice President for publicly admitting that he speaks with and has a relationship with God – completely ignoring the fact that one of their idols, potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Oprah Winfrey, claims the very same thing.
It all started when former White House employee and failed Celebrity Apprentice reality television star Omarosa Manigault reportedly decided it would suit her post-White House pursuits to spread malicious gossip about what she claims to have observed during her short stint in President Trump’s administration. Omarosa spoke condescendingly about how V.P. Pence is a devout Christian, calling his faith “scary.”
In a clip obtained from Celebrity Big Brother, Omarosa described V.P. Pence as an “extreme Christian” who talks to Jesus, which Behar and Co. over at The View almost immediately snatched up as content for their obnoxious show. Even left-wing attorney Sunny Hostin, who professes to be a Catholic, joined in and declared that V.P. Pence’s faith is “dangerous,” and that she doesn’t want to see it in the White House.
“When you have a Mike Pence who now puts this religious veneer on things and who calls people values voters, I think we’re this a dangerous situation,” Hostin spurted, to approval from the audience. “Look, I’m Catholic. I’m a faithful person, but I don’t know that I want my vice president, um – speaking in tongues and having Jesus speak to him.”
Behar, in usual obnoxious form, quickly chimed in with her own ridicule of V.P. Pence’s faith. She reiterated, having apparently made such statements on a previous occasion:
“Like I said before, it’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.”
After the audience finished laughing after being prompted by Behar to do so, Behar added:
“That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct. Hearing voices.”
The screeching banter went on and on, back and forth, to the irritating degree that it’s unlikely very many viewers stayed tuned in. But it’s important to point out that these same loons haven’t said a peep about their beloved Oprah Winfrey, who, when asked just a few days ago whether she planned to run for the presidency in 2020, made similar statements about having a two-way speaking relationship with God.
During an interview on 60 Minutes Overtime that aired on February 11, 2018, Oprah stated in response to the question the following:
“If God actually wanted me to run, wouldn’t God kinda tell me? And I haven’t heard that.”
Had V.P. Pence stated these exact same words himself, it would have been fodder for mockery and scoffing over at The View. But because it was Oprah who said these things, there was absolute dead silence from Whoopi, Behar, and the rest of the Jezebelian feminist cult. This is par for the course, really, when it comes to liberal hypocrisy, and it’s hardly surprising considering the current state of left-wing politics.
Whatever the Republicans say or do these days, the leftists are ready to immediately burn them at the stake, no matter what it is. But when Democrats do or say the exact same things, not a peep is made – the epitome of liberal hypocrisy.
“Where is Behar and the gang’s mockery of Oprah’s faith?” asks Alex Parker from Truth Revolt. “Perhaps they’re putting any potential insults on hold – as the media did with Donald Trump – unless and until Oprah becomes a Republican.”
