Neoconservative media commentator Ben Shapiro, a leader of the ‘Never Trump’ faction of the conservative movement, took to social media earlier today to complain about being unfairly stigmatized as a white supremacist by fake news reports.

So, we now have two separate NYT columnists arguing that all conservatives are basically violent white supremacists, but slightly more subtle. Let me put this gently: f*** yourselves. pic.twitter.com/aqJjZjfPra

I have been fighting against these white supremacist monsters for years. The FBI arrested a white supremacist threatening me and my family two months ago. I was their number one online target in 2016 according to the ADL. I have 24/7 security because of them.

Your conflation of all conservatives with white supremacist monsters who despise actual conservative principles — you know, like the universal, non-racially-based applicability of the principles of Western civilization — is cynical, deliberate, and disgusting.

The only problem with Shapiro’s whining is he has frequently insinuated that others inside the conservative movement are white supremacists, making him guilty of the exact same accusations he has hurled toward the fake news media.
Well @benshapiro
You said I had “borderline white supremacist theories,” which is totally false.
But now you don’t like being lumped in with white supremacists?

As per your silly list request, here are 20 alt-right-friendly or alt-right people/outlets. Have at it, @hughhewitt. pic.twitter.com/DniC7Ko85f

By pretending not to know what the alt right is, then saying that there were very fine people at a white supremacist torchlight march.

Shapiro has also embarked on a shameful anti-white crusade in lieu of this past weekend’s mass shootings in El Paso, TX and Dayton, OH. Shapiro even parroted the leftist Twitter hashtag #WhiteSupremacistTerrorism to assist his political enemies in their witch hunt to demonize President Trump.
#WhiteSupremacistTerrorism is terrorism and should be treated as such. It is an evil scourge that must be rooted out and destroyed.

In a series of re-tweets, Shapiro expressed sympathy with the ideas of unconstitutional gun control, federal terrorist profiling of white right-wing activists, and Draconian internet censorship as a way to stop mass shootings.
Shapiro also bragged to a leftist academic about his years of social justice advocacy, an obvious point of personal pride for this leader of the Never Trumpers.
While Shapiro may complain about how he is unfairly profiled as a white supremacist by the fake news media, he has nobody to blame but himself. He has frequently used the exact same attacks on his own personal enemies in the conservative movement for self-serving purposes.
